Born in 1968 in Koudougou, Burkina Faso, he settled in Ouagadougou in 1986. Vincent De Paul started to express his art and his talent within the framework of a seminar at his birthplace.
He mixes composite productions of bronze with materials of recovery and wrought iron. With material of recovery and bronze he expresses his plastic sensitivity and in a very stylized and very expressive way, he also works with batik and gives courses to young children and adults.
He was initially exposed to the French Arts centre of Ouagadougou, with the museum of Dioulasso Sore then abroad: Dakar, Bonn, in Quebec, in Switzerland, in Paris and Besancon where he carved out for the city, a monumental sculpture in year 2000. He also took part in the symposium of Laongo and in Saint-Pierre-of-Chartreuse in France. Since 1999 he opened his own workshop and there worked in an independent way.
